HOSPITAL ETO STERILIZER VIDEO
Design Focused on Safety and Efficiency
With robust construction in high purity grade stainless steel, the design of the Hospital ETO Sterilizer maintains a high level of cleanliness. The design incorporates PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), ensuring precise control and monitoring of the sterilization process. This approach enhances operator safety by minimizing the gas exposure via working primarily with 100% EO cartridges.
How It Works?
A Hospital ETO Sterilizer encompasses key phases of the sterilization process:
-
Preconditioning: Medical devices are introduced inside the chamber, where the temperature and humidity are adjusted to optimal levels to enable effectiveness during sterilization.
-
Vacuum: The air in the chamber gets removed to ensure the EO gas penetrates deep into the devices.
-
Gas Introduction: The EO gas is introduced at specific concentrations in the chamber to expose all surfaces and internal pathways within the medical devices to the sterilant.
-
Exposure Phase: Depending on the size and number of devices, the EO gas is in contact with the devices for a specific period of time, allowing the EO to damage the DNA and proteins of the microorganisms, thereby neutralizing the microorganisms.
-
Aeration: After sterilization, the chamber is ventilated to expel any residual EO gas, which makes the devices safe for use.
Designed to Meet Different Capabilities
The Hospital ETO Sterilizers can accommodate a wide range of medical instruments, including:
-
Catheters and Cardiac Domes: Fragile tools needing low-temperature sterilization for continued efficacy.
-
Thermo-labile Products: Items that can not withstand heat, and are sensitive to steam sterilization methods.
-
Fine Surgical Instruments: Fine tools that must retain the level of sharpness and structure.
-
Orthopedic Implants: Ultra-clean devices essential to disinfect in order to stop postoperative infections
They feature programmable cycles to meet the unique needs of different devices without compromising effectiveness or safety.
User-Friendly Operation
Modern Hospital ETO Sterilizers come with the user-friendly front-end:
-
Touchscreen Controls: Enable an easy glide through sterilization cycles and adjustments.
-
Automation: Automation processes to reduce manual intervention and the risk of human error.
-
Safety Procedures: Include alarms and automatic shutdowns for operator safety and to ensure a safe work environment.
