Tableting process is a twostep action where the first step includes lowering the bottom punch into the die to create a cavity for the granulated feed stock. The movement of lowering is controlled by the machine automatically as per the settings. Any excess filling is scraped from the top to allow the upper punch to be brought down and come in contact with the powder. This is done with force to the high-pressure compression rolls and helps fuse the granulated material together and form a hard tablet. The lower punch helps eject the tablet at the end of the process by raising it again.

Tableting zone of the machine is totally enclosed to minimize noise emission. Entire drive mechanism is contained within the lower cabinet, which is closed by vibration isolated, sound reducing guards. Anti-vibration mounts are fitted as standard. Safe machine operation is of utmost importance. To ensure safety, all upper guards have been fitted with interlock switches. If a guard is open, while the machine is in operation, the machine will stop immediately. Lower guards are fitted with lockable handles.

Within the tableting zone there are no painted surfaces and the large cabinet combined with wide counterbalanced upper guards give excellent access to the area for cleaning purposes. Lower punch scraper seals prevent material passing through the lower punch guides into the cam tracks. This resulting reduced wear and extended tool life in addition to enabling the machine to run for longer periods between clean downs.

Working Principle of Tablet Press Machine

Tablet compression machine basically works on hydraulic pressure. This pressure perform key role in any type of Tablet Machine. It transmitted unreduced through the static fluid. Any external applied pressure is transmitted through static fluid to all directions in the same proposition. which resulting make suitable to increase pressure.

To form a tablet, the granulated powder material must be metered into a cavity formed by two punches and a die, and then the punches must be pressed together with great force to fuse the material together. There are two types of tablet presses called Single Station Tablet Press and Multi Station Tablet Press. Working of these machines differs in terms of production output and feature requirements.
