Tablet Making Machine (tablet press machine) including tablet production machine are uses for production of solid dosage tablets. Tableting Machine work on principle of compacting the powder by applying pressure. Equal pressure applied from top and bottom resulting formation of slug in pre decided size and shape of tablets. This heavy duty tablet press machine available in pressure range of 6 tons and 10 tons. Different models available for double layer (bi layer) and triple layer tablets. Production output of pharmaceutical tablet making machine depends upon number of stations. All our machine models are rotary in principle and complies as per cGMP requirements.

Tablet making process is two stage process in which first stage is lowering the punch into die in order to create cavity for granulated powder. Die lowering movement can be administered automatically with machine settings. Frame provided to wipe out excess filling powder from the cavity. Now upper punch bring down through high compression rollers. This process resulting compacting the granulated powder to form hard tablet. Further lifting up of lower punch eject tablets from the die at the end of the cycle.

Design and Construction of Tablet Making Machine

Tablet Making Machines provide uniform weight tablets with desired shape & size requirements. Rotary principle of machine occupies less space with ease maintenance approach. Rotary frame without square pipe makes working surface area smooth hence equipment is easy to clean after each batch.

Tableting segment is completely covered with acrylic guard to reduce noise emission. Drive mechanism is installed in lower segment of machine which isolate vibration area from the working segment of machine. Anti vibrating pads fitted to absorb any possible vibration. Acrylic guards having interlock sensor in order to stop machine in case of door is open. This ensure operator’s safety during the operations.

There is no painted surface in tableting segment to avoid any rusting possibilities in long run. Scrapper seal in lower punches prevents powder to go inside cam tracks. This additional measure enables minimum wear and prolonged life of machine parts.

Working Principle of Tablet Making Machine

Tablet making machine generally works on hydraulic pressure principle. Pressure perform pivot role in any type of Tablet Making Machine. Hydraulic pressure is transmitted with static fluid. Outside pressure  transmitted through static fluid in every directions in same proposition. This resulting to make suitable to increase pressure. In order to form the tablet granulated feed mass must be formed into cavity by die and punches. After that punches should be pressed together with utmost force to fuse the powder. Upon completion of tablet forming process lower punch eject tablets in outfeed exit tray.
