Design of Tube Filling Machine

Machine consists of an Aluminum rotating disc with interchangeable tube holding sockets for different tube sizes. The Filling Station is made of Stainless-Steel block fitted with pneumatic device to control tailing. Machine is having 25 kgs. Capacity hopper. There is non-return valve fitted below SS Main Filling Block, Volume tracks for fine adjustments and weight accuracy.

Working Principle of Tube Filling Machine

Rotating disc having 8 tube holder pockets which rotate in continuous rotary motion. The 1^st and 2^nd stations are for the feeding of the tubes. 3^rd station is for vacuum cleaning of the tubes to remove dust particles from the tube. 4^th station is “No Tube – No Filling” station. At 4^th Station tube presence will be determined by tube presence sensor. 5^th station is Filling Station where filling will be done based on inputs from the 4^th station. In case of no presence of tubes – no filling activity will occur.

6^th station is crimping station. Where crimping activity will take place for tubes. 7^th station is batch coding station where preset data will be embossed on to tubes. 8^th station is automatic tube ejection station to eject filled & crimped tubes.
